What’s User Testing?

Kinds of User Testing

  • Guerilla testing: It is one of the simplest forms of usability testing which involves visiting public places such as coffee shops and picking participants randomly to check your product. But in return, the participants get rewarded in the kind of gifts.
  • Lab Usability testing: In this testing process the test is conducted in specific environments such as labs under the existence of a moderator. It is also known as a moderated endurance evaluation.
  • Unmoderated usability test: This testing is done without the existence of a moderator in an unmoderated setup typically at participants’ location and in their own apparatus.
  • Contextual inquiry: It’s similar to an interview/observation method where a set of questions is asked by the actual user/test participants about their experience with this product.
  • Card Sorting: In this technique, examine participants will need to set notions (content, attributes ) on cards and also control the cards into groups and categories.
  • Session recording: it’s a method of recording the activities that real users take while they interact with a site. This information helps stakeholders to know what characteristic most brings the users.
